Valentin Lazar - VAL is a
composer as well as a performer of Electro-Acoustic and Computer
Music. He participated and continues to participate in international
festivals of electro-acoustic music such as Synthese in France,
Rusolo Pratella in Italy, Ars Electronica in Austria, Computer Space
in Sofia, ICMC in Denmark, Musica Nova in Prague and more. He has
performed in numerous electronic concerts in countries such as
Bulgaria, Slovenia, France and Israel. In 1995 VAL wrote the
exciting music for the children’s musical 'The Enigmatic Planet'
played in The National Palace of Culture in Sofia. He has also
written the music for the energetic play 'The Tin Soldier' played in
the National Academy of Theatre in Bulgaria. In 1999 his moving
piece The Planet Shining earned him the prize for Best Composition
in the national competition of Sofia University. In 1997 VAL won 1st
prize in the 24th competition for electro-acoustic music in Bourges,
France for his original piece Boou 97.

VAL released his first own CD album called "Flying" in 2003. He has
also released an MC album called "The Enigmatic Planet" in 1995 and
3 co-author CD albums.
Today VAL is working as a sound engineer, teacher and music creator.
